Project Overview Al Mehran Group is a retail business owned by Habib Ur Rahman. The goal of this project was to take the business from a traditional offline setup to a professional online presence where customers could easily explore products, place orders, and interact with the brand digitally. I managed the complete digital side of the business, from building the e-commerce store to organizing products and creating an online system designed around the customer's shopping experience. The Challenge The business needed more than just a website. It needed a complete online presence that could represent the brand professionally and make its products accessible to customers online. The key requirements were: Establish a professional online identity for the business Build a complete e-commerce store Organize a large range of products into a clear structure Create a simple and mobile-friendly shopping experience Make product discovery and purchasing easier for customers Manage the store and its digital content on an ongoing basis My Approach I handled the project from the ground up, focusing on both the technical side and the customer-facing experience. The work included planning the store structure, designing the user experience, developing the e-commerce website, organizing products and categories, and setting up the essential components required to operate the business online. Rather than treating the website as a simple digital catalog, I approached it as a complete online sales channel for Al Mehran Group. Key Work Delivered E-Commerce Store Development Designed and developed a complete e-commerce store for Al Mehran Group with a structured product catalog and customer-focused shopping experience. Product & Category Management Organized products into relevant categories and structured the store so customers can quickly find what they are looking for. Mobile-First Experience Focused heavily on mobile usability, ensuring the store remains clean, easy to navigate, and practical for customers browsing from smartphones. UI/UX Design Created a modern, clean, and professional interface with clear navigation, product presentation, calls-to-action, and a shopping flow designed around usability. Online Business Management Managed the digital side of the business, including website updates, product management, content organization, and ongoing improvements to the online store. Brand Presence Built the website to give Al Mehran Group a more professional digital identity and create a consistent experience between the business and its online customers. Result The project transformed Al Mehran Group's traditional retail presence into a structured online shopping platform. The business now has a dedicated e-commerce environment where its products can be presented professionally, customers can browse the catalog, and the brand can continue expanding its online operations. More importantly, the project established a foundation that can grow with the business rather than functioning as a static website.
